Overview
Seeing two entries doesn’t always mean two charges. Often it’s a temporary authorization hold plus the final posted charge. Use the quick checks below.
Quick checks (credit cards)
- Pending vs posted: In your card app/statement, look for one “pending/authorization” and one “posted” transaction.
- Hold timing: Card holds typically drop off within ~7 days (bank timelines vary).
- Amount changes: If your quote changed before install, you may see a new authorization and the old one will fall off.
Quick checks (ACH)
- ACH has no holds. If you see two posted debits, check if one was reversed (look for an ACH credit). If both remain posted after bank processing, contact your bank.
Quick checks (Klarna)
- Open the Klarna app to view your authorization and capture. Klarna authorizations expire after ~30 days; if yours expired before installation, a new authorization may appear.
What to do next
- Recheck after your bank finishes processing (often the next business day).
- If you still see two posted charges (credit) or two posted debits (ACH) after processing:
- Credit cards: contact your card issuer.
- ACH: contact your bank.
- Klarna: use the Klarna app or klarna.com.
For order changes, scope, or scheduling questions, contact your installer directly (details are in your quote/scheduling emails).
