Overview
Dealers submit EV sale/lease details to Honda Home Electrification after your purchase. This usually takes 2–7 business days (often a couple of days, sometimes up to a week). Once we receive your sale data, we email your coupon code within ~24 hours of our receipt (not 24 hours from the day you bought the vehicle). If you don’t see a code yet, use the steps below.
Step 1 — Check timing & your email
- Has it been fewer than 7 business days since purchase? The dealer data may not be in our system yet.
- Check spam/junk for an email from Honda Home Electrification.
- If you registered on our site with a different email than you used at purchase, you won’t see the auto-apply banner—use the methods below.
Step 2 — Try these in-platform options
A) Auto-apply banner (most common)
- Register/sign in with the same email used at the dealership.
- If we already have your sale data, a blue banner will offer to apply your promotion—click Apply.
B) Enter your coupon code manually (Estimate or Quote page)
- You can enter your code on either page:
- Estimate page: open your Cart and select Have a promo code or voucher to open the pop-up.
- Quote page: use the Add Coupon / Have a promo code or voucher option to open the same pop-up.
- Paste your coupon code and submit.
- Confirm the coupon appears in your Cart; it will also reflect in your quote totals.
C) “Need to find your coupon” look-up
- In the same pop-up, choose Need to find your coupon.
- Enter the VIN, full legal name used at purchase, purchase email, and purchase address.
- We’ll search our system and apply the match if found.
Tip: Details must match the dealer’s submission exactly (legal name vs nickname, address formatting, VIN characters, purchase email).
Step 3 — Still not found?
- If it’s been 7+ business days and none of the three options work, contact your dealership and ask them to confirm they submitted the sale with the exact details you’re using on our site.
- Common mismatch reasons: different email used on our site, nickname vs legal name, address formatting differences, or VIN typos.
Moving a coupon between projects/addresses
- If the coupon was applied elsewhere, remove it from that project first, then apply it to the new project via any method above.
Where you’ll see the coupon once applied
- Estimate page & Quote page (identical display): The Cart shows the coupon by name and updates totals in the same way on both pages.
- Itemized breakdown (same on both pages):
- Model Year 2026
- Package 1: shows the Home Charging Station as included, and applies the $1,250 installation credit as a discount.
- Model Year 2025
- Package A: shows the Home Charging Station as included, and applies the $500 installation credit as a discount.
- Package B (model year 2025 only): does not show a wall-mounted charger line (portable kit comes from the dealership), and applies the $250 installation credit as a discount.
- Package C (model year 2025 only): not redeemed on this platform; we do not display or manage Package C public charging credits here.
